The Horsfords are Special Files!: Apparently, our very own State Senate majority leader and DNC Rep, Steven Horsford, is unaware that unlawfully using handicapped parking spaces and credentials, does not cover the mentally challenged like himself,  or the perfectly healthy Horsford family!

I’m confident NVDEMS chair Sam Lieberman, who has a physical challenge himself, is also very angry with Horsford’s arrogance and depraved indifference to people with challenges and disabilities, especially because Horsford is one of Nevada’s elected Democratic National Committee representatives and disability issues are a major part of the party’s national platform he swore to uphold.

Do you think Steve Horsford takes Sam Lieberman’s spot at NVDEMS’ headquarters too? Ms Spears should have walked up the street on south Valley View to ask!

A public censure and recall vote should be on the agenda of NVDEMS’ State Central Committee’s next meeting!

It would be hypocritical of NVDEMS to do anything less.

Hampton Fuel Spent: Thankfully for Doug Hampton and Sen John Ensign, the viewing audience of ABC’s ‘Nightline’ reaches only 17 people. His appearance told us nothing new except being married to him must be a nightmare and that’s why his wife joyfully consented to bed the senator, many, many, many, many, many, many, many,many,many, many,many times…(just that day!).

Doug Hampton looked and sounded pathetic and he personally ruined the case; Ensign will be admonished by the Ethics Committee late next year, his folks will get a big tax bill they can afford, and unless Mrs Hampton shows up on Barbara Walters bawling about her balling, the public’s lost interest.

Here’s another scoop: Oprah, Dateline, and 60 Minutes turned him down and he or his people are trying to shop a book deal!

Neff’s Nerf: CityLife’s column with Dem warhorse Erin Neff tried and failed to get her to say that the R-J was a hostile workplace as if Erin was unaware of what the R-J was before she signed on.  Erin’s too smart a woman to fall for that crap, but I think she did do us who enjoyed reading her…and her lefty compatriots, a disservice by leaving the paper.

Now the R-J doesn’t have a lefty point of view and she’ll never be hired again by a Stephen’s owned paper, so she’s left speaking to the same teeny-tiny group of head-bobbers of her own kind.

From several hundred thousand readers a week at the R-J, to several hundred today, has kind of extinguished rather than distinguished her!

I would love to see her and the RGJ’s Anjeanette Damon team up for a new media that leans left, but isn’t all DNC talking points; kind of like two national columnist Ellen Goodmans’ on crack!  Wouldn’t that be a refreshing and interesting take here in a local media world loaded with boring guys?

Right now, what’s she’s doing is political propaganda, not enlightening us or challenging us to think; that harms her brand, not enhances it.

I also think Neff’s best work was when we got a glimpse of her as a woman, daughter, wife, Mom and how that shaped her views…that’s what made us look forward to her column; her within her writing! The CL reporter completely missed that aspect of Erin in her coverage, preferring the tabloid trashing of the R-J over more about her subject!

My first question to Neff would have been: ‘Erin, like me, you’re a regional treasure, how excruciatingly difficult was it for you not to ‘lust in your heart’ seeing Tom Mitchell wandering around the halls on Bonanza in those sausage-casing tight pants and cowboy boots looking like ‘Yosemite Sam’ everyday?’

Sidebar: Each time I’ve been at the R-J, I’ve always seen Mitchell, and all he does is wander the halls like a patient in ‘…Cuckoo’s Nest’; I don’t think they ever gave him a desk and I think he thinks the gumball machine in the lobby is a gambling device!

Kallas Palace & More Files: Yes, the LVPPA’s corrupted GOPer, Dave Kallas, is one of Nevada’s premier con-men and despite all of the controversy and influence peddling with the LVPPA’s new headquarters palace; his much bigger problem would be that he is floating lead trial balloons to run for County Commission ‘G’, when he legally resides in ‘A’.

Again, for obvious reasons, Dave Kallas will never be elected to public office in Nevada.

Kallas has been ‘Lynette-ed’ by his own many detractors!

The Outfit Files: Yes, our beloved LVMPD remains the only major department in the US that does not have an Organized Crime Division per se, for obvious reasons; hell, we don’t even have stand alone Asian and Hispanic Gang Crimes Units either.

When I write about OC within Metro, its tentacles are all-encompassing.  However, that’s just our own homegrown domestic Organized Crime versions which have wholly-owned Metro and the Clark County DA’s office forever.

There are also sophisticated International Organized Crime elements here and we’ll get into those and how Sheriff Gillespie has done absolutely nothing about them either, in future pieces.

The only thing both domestic and international organized crime operations share in common is what all big businesses desire, first and foremost:

Information is for-sale within every single Metro division going all the way up the chain-of-command. Garbage officers abound, completely unchecked, throughout every Metro Division and the latest scandal involving Lt Ben Kim and his shit had even Metro’s hyper-corrupted Special Investigations and Intelligence Units forced to go through the motions.

He’s one of Sheriff Douglas Gillespie’s dirtiest cops operating with his full knowledge, consent, and hearty support!

However, painting this particular saga as ‘Asian’ is incorrect and it is misleading and unfair.  Asia stretches over 11 times zones, contains dozens of different cultures, countries, and ethnicities, and Lt Kim’s alleged mob-owners are from the ruthless and bloodthirsty South Korean branch that has very large operations in Las Vegas; concentrating mostly on money-laundering and prostitution and buying Metro officers is their cheapest enterprise in the United States!

Our tiny little local FBI office with barely 200 agents doesn’t have the manpower and international underworld elements know it.

Who knows, maybe US Attorney Daniel Bogden is serious this time? Mr USA, again, I can name 13 different federal investigations, just at Metro and the DA’s office alone, which should be going on right now.

So, now prove your worth cowboy!

Mr USA, you’d be very wise sir to investigate the LVMPD investigators too!
