The Democrats’ healthcare Town Hall meetings fiascoes have reignited fears for President Obama’s personal safety among Americans. I regularly receive prayer circle type requests from all over the country several times a week, and in recent weeks, they have multiplied.

It is reasonable to be concerned for his and his family’s safety. He is our first black president and some people still have issues, so by all means, pray for the man.  We’ve written about the 8-10 million between both parties that are just pure haters, and they are prominent for the United States Secret Service.

There have been about 90 plots and/or attempts at sitting or former presidents, and 4 have resulted in the assassination of the US president: Lincoln, Garfield, McKinley, and Kennedy.

But, please have faith that the USSS knows what they’re doing.  Those men and women are magnificent Americans. They must pledge to give their own lives for their charges, and they all take that oath with the utmost personal conviction.

And please, don’t ever make smart-assed remarks, or joke about threats.  The USSS takes everything as Gospel. You will be prosecuted, and you will go to prison, if they don’t take you out first.

I wrote the original of this piece last winter, but decided not to publish then because I didn’t want to upset anyone or make them fearful.  Any new presidency should enjoy the affection of Americans—however briefly—and the time to consider these things was not back then while we were still absorbing actually living through an historical moment in time.

There is a time for critique and concern, but there is also a time for rejoicing at the magnificence of our republican democracy and its peaceful transfer of power.

But, we must talk about it now.

Any American who would harm, or wish harm on any president is no American in my book. They are sick individuals and judging by what you read on our local and the national hate blogs from both sides and what you see every single day on hate TV on FOXJazeera and MSNBC, they have a forum for their hate out there too.

Hopefully, that provides a pressure release valve for these sickos.

But the likelihood of harm coming to President Obama domestically is subjectively small in comparison to the risk abroad. Though he has traveled to Europe and other destinations; those locales were securable, even when he ventured outdoors.  The host nations have extraordinary security agency measures that give some very high level of diplomatic security.

Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton was dispatched on her first diplomatic mission to China and Asia.  China, being the world’s largest owner of our nation’s debt, made that trip a calculated necessity, rather than the European tour each of her predecessors had done as their first trips abroad.

But there was also an underlying, rather secretive mission: to determine if the President of the United States could safely travel to Indonesia; the world’s largest Muslim nation, the world’s fourth most populous nation, and the place where he spent four of his most formative years running around as a little kid in Jakarta between the ages of 6 and 10 years old.

President Obama, like all men, wants to go back to where he was as a little boy to reflect and see where he is now, and where he was then.

The verdict from every intelligence and security agency the world over to Secretary Clinton—from the CIA to the KGB to Mossad to SIS/M16 to MSS—was that he cannot travel to Indonesia; it is impossible to provide for his security there. There are several other nations that he cannot travel to, but no other nation is viewed as a greater danger than Indonesia.

He would be safer walking down the streets of Cairo or Islamabad without the USSS, than he would be anywhere within Indonesia with them.

Indonesia is a moderate nation, but it is made up of more than 17,000 islands and deep within its jungles lay Al Qaida sleeper cells and training facilities that even the Indonesian government doesn’t know about, despite their very best efforts.

It is little known to civilians, but when all world leaders travel, all intelligence and security agencies worldwide—even those of enemies—participate in security measures. It’s a diplomatic quid pro quo that each agency contributes for the greater good’s collective security. However, Indonesia as a potential host nation does not have the security apparatus to even consider issuing an invitation to the POTUS, and without that security acumen, the USSS and the world’s other agencies cannot guarantee his security either.

Again, 17,000 islands are impossible to secure.

An example: then Australian Prime Minister John Howard was in the United States on an official visit during the 9/11 attacks and he was immediately—I mean within seconds—whisked away to safety by all of the security agencies involved.  The same courtesy and protection would be provided to President Obama anywhere he should travel.

And the reason this is such an urgent concern is that President Obama’s father was Muslim, and just as if your mother was Jewish, you are therefore Jewish for life; in Islam, if your father is Muslim, you are Muslim for life.

Neither faith believes that you can switch religious teams in life.

The vilest religious sect in the world today is an offshoot of Islam called Wahhabism. They truly believe that they are the only protectors of Islam and the only judge and jury to 1.2 billion Muslim all over the world.  They are financed by the Saudis and their hate and extremism knows no boundaries.

Each of the 9/11 hijackers was Wahhabi, bin Laden is Wahhabi, most of the Saudi’s thousands of royal princes are Wahhabi—yet we are still doing business with Saudi Arabia today and failed to even recall our Ambassador after 9/11—even briefly.

The Wahhabi prop up the royal House of Saud in order that their sect may fully control Mecca and Medina and should anything happened to the Saudi monarchy, the cataclysm in the Islamic world for control of those two cities could be the largest religious based bloody uprising in all of human history.

Such is the deal with the devil we’ve made to drive our Hummers and require cheap oil.

Because President Obama is now considered by the Wahhabi to be an ‘infidel’ for leaving their faith—the only faith according to them—and becoming a Christian—a ‘crusader’, regardless of denomination—every agency in the world believes that if an attempt is made on President Obama, it will be from this sect, and that it is most likely to occur in Indonesia.

This is the world we live in today.  This is the world that so many of my friends on the far-left still don’t believe is an extraordinarily dangerous place for freedom loving peoples and to our leaders.

Just as both Presidents Clinton and Bush suffered under Al Qaida attacks, no agency in the world does not believe the same fate will happen for President Obama; Al Qaida is a remarkably patient and disciplined regime of hate, and somewhere on the planet, most likely our embassies or military installations, they will attack us or our interests under President Obama too.

And they may make an attempt on President Obama too.  It is to their very great credit that the USSS maintained George W Bush’s security umbrella and that no attempt on his life—that we know about presently—was ever made, even after 9/11!

But today, there would be no greater treasured prize for these Wahhabi extremists than to bring harm to the ‘infidel’ American president who renounced their faith—again, the only faith in their view—for another faith.

It is the United States Secret Service’s mission to ensure that no one, foreign or domestic, harms the President of the United States—any president—and we must have faith that they will continue to perform their mission with exemplary competence and agile precision.

As Americans of goodwill, we must have that faith in them—even when the issues of the day are burning very brightly and very passionately at Town Hall meetings across the country.
